Sixteen selected prints based on seven days walk along the eastern coastline of the historic county of Ross-shire, Scotland. This section includes The Tarbat Peninsula, The Cromarty Firth & The Black Isle. The walk took place in Summer 2019.

Symbols of mortality began to appear after the Reformation and are intended, not so subtly, to emphasise the shortness of earthly life for partially literate or illiterate viewers. Symbols depicted are: Bell, Hourglass, Coffin, Scroll that may have had the inscription 'Memento Mori”, Femur, Skull, Peat Cutter & Spade.
