The glass and steel bridge designed by architects Berman Guedes Stretton as part of a larger redevelopment for Pembroke College crosses Brewer Street to provide a link between the two campuses owned by the college. The last bridge to be built over one of Oxford city centre’s streets was the iconic Bridge of Sighs in 1914.
